With our guide, we will stroll through the historic center, admiring its squares, hidden alleys, noble palaces and churches, whose details, carved in the local stone, will leave you in awe.

You will also taste Lecce’s renowned street food, the rustico leccese: puff pastry filled with béchamel, tomato and mozzarella. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Monopoli and Alberobello: the capital of the trulli

Breakfast. Departure for Monopoli and guided tour of its charming old town overlooking the sea, with its whitewashed alleys, the old harbor dotted with traditional fishing boats and the Baroque Cathedral of the Madonna della Madia. Lunch.

In the afternoon, continue to Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its trulli, the iconic whitewashed stone houses with conical roofs. With our guide, we will stroll through the Rione Monti and Aia Piccola districts and visit the Trullo Sovrano. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Otranto: Pearl of the East

Breakfast, then transfer to Otranto for a guided tour of the historic center. Otranto is a meeting point of cultures framed by wild, extraordinary nature. We will walk through the ancient village enclosed by its Aragonese walls, with white houses, winding streets, the seafront, the Castle and the Romanesque Cathedral, adorned with a magnificent mosaic floor depicting the Tree of Life.

Nardò and Gallipoli: Baroque beauty and the Maldives of Salento

Breakfast. Departure for Nardò, a treasure trove of churches, architecture and Baroque art. Continue to Gallipoli, a must-see with its palaces and courtyard gardens and its churches, fine examples of Lecce Baroque, such as the Church of the Purità and the Cathedral of Sant’Agata. Don’t miss the imposing castle with its circular towers and bastions.

Mini-Cruise and Wine Tasting: the caves of Santa Maria di Leuca

Breakfast. Transfer to the port of Santa Maria di Leuca and embarkation for a boat tour of about three hours to the sea caves on the Ionian or Adriatic side, depending on sea conditions: breathtaking scenery, relaxation and the beauty of the sea, with stops for swimming and a glass of prosecco.

Return to the hotel and light lunch. In the afternoon, wine tasting at the masseria to savor the typical wines of Salento. Free time. Dinner.

Breakfast. Departure for Taranto and guided tour of this ancient city of Magna Graecia and its main monuments: the Aragonese Castle and the National Archaeological Museum (MArTA), one of the most important archaeological museums in Italy.
